shower water filter?

I thought there was a good thread about water filters for your shower, but I can't find it. So, I'm in the market for a good filter that will remove chlorine and still have very good water pressure. Any suggestions? (Or a link to that lost thread?)

Thanks,
justme

justme, here's a link:

I think Pixna uses a shower filter, also. Maybe you could PM her if she doesn't see your post.

I'm thinking about looking into some shower-head filters, too. Our water is so hard here (I can tell by the residue it leaves in my pan I use for humidiying! ) Yuk!

If you decide to purchase one, would you mind letting me know about it?

Thanks!

DweamGoil uses one, too, I believe.

Great memory, MissKim!! I'm impressed!!

I use a water filter in our kitchen (TerraFlo brand) and in the shower, but I don't know the name of the one we use in the shower. Our shower head has the regular "pulse, spray, massage" or whatever the designations are -- the filter doesn't interfere with our water pressure at all. It filters out chlorine and heavy minerals -- it doesn't make our water soft, per se, but it does make it softER. I wouldn't shower or wash my hair without a filter. The water where we live is very hard and there's a huge difference with the filter.

I have a Culligan water filter in my shower, and I really have noticed a difference since I started using it. The pressure is fine, too! HTH

Thanks for the heads up on this topic.... I have been wondering myself about getting a shower filter and may check out the ones posted on this thread. I have noticed that my hair is not as curly since moving to my new apartment and the touch of it has changed too...

I can only attritbute it to the water from the shower head (maybe not enough pressure as in my old apartment... minerals... etc... ) as I have pretty much ruled out changes in diet or products I am using as the culprits.

Thanks again.

Take care all,

Wepa
