My stylist asked me how long "we" had been growing my hair. I've always remembered telling my stylist at a November 2000 appointment that I was going to grow it long. This month marks three years of growing I did not take a picture at the very beginning The oldest I have is from July 2001, which is the picture below..... It was fun looking through my file of pics over the past 3 years. I'm thinking about posting my progression through the years. It's great to have an archive of pics to remind me how far I've come. Below is a picture I took today. I highly recommend to those of you at the beginning stages of growing out to keep a record of pics. It can give you a sense of accomplishment.... | | | November 8th, 2003, 08:53 PM | #2 | | Administrator Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: Alaska Age: 35 Posts: 12,683 Length: 2"/62"/65" Type: 2b/2c/F/M/iii | Wow, Sunsailing! You know, it occurs to me that you have fabulous genetics for long hair. What did you have done at the salon? Did you go for the trim? | | | November 9th, 2003, 05:34 AM | #6 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Sep 2003 Posts: 697 Type: 1b/M/iii | Sunsailing you have absolutely gorgeous hair, what an accomplishment! Your hair is so nice and looks so well cared for! You must have had pretty long hair to start with? My husband is growing his hair out, and it is no where near as long as your first pic. He's been growing his for almost a year. It just about touches his shoulders. Thanks for sharing your progress. You really have some amazing hair growth there! I agree about taking pics for record, even if it seems pointless at first with short hair. It's so much fun afterwards. My hair was a bob when I came to the boards... __________________ Joliebaby Thick, wavy, medium textured 7/ 2005: shaved head 8/ 2006: Neck 8/ 2007: Collar 1/ 2008: APL 1/ 2008: BS 2/ 2009: Waist 1/ 2010: TB 6/ 2010: Classic | | | November 9th, 2003, 04:49 PM | #14 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: EU Age: 36 Posts: 1,080 Length: 19/19/+?
