I broke a hair stick!

Granted, I broke a plastic hair stick from Claire's (which I'll miss because it had pirate skulls on it, way cute), but I broke a hair stick trying to make a bun! I have enough hair now to inflict damage on poor unsuspecting hair toys!

I really shouldn't be so excited about this, but breaking sticks is something people with long hair have to deal with, and I did it! Hair is kinda starting to feel longish!

Not that I've ever broken a hair stick - I'm positive that my hair would break before the hair stick.. Sooo.. I'm not going to experiment..

Congratulations! I have to say, it's no fun to be breaking everything below $10 right and left, but... there're always all-wood sticks, which hold up much better! Too bad you lost such a cute hair toy.

Oh, I'm happy that you're at that excited stage! (Claire's hint: I had bought a hair jaws there a few months ago; when I got home, I threw away the receipt and promptly broke the jaws on my first try. The next week, I was back in there, and asked the store clerk about it - she told me to just bring it in - with or without the receipt - and if it's obviously something in Claire's stock, it could be exchanged, no hassle. Hopefully this is chain policy, and not just my store girl being nice! But worth a try, esp. if you're on a tight budget, and they want to keep you as a satisfied, returning customer.)

I have been using sticks for about a year..broke one wooden and two metal (the decoration at the top) And quality toys..mm maybe but I must admid that the risk of breaking a maidens treasure..I not one I am ready to face yet. So I keep the amount I spend on sticks low as possible for the moment

The first time I broke a hair stick, I was sad until I realized that, hey, I finally have enough hair to break sticks! It was still sad, because it was one of only two sticks that I had at the time.

I broke a hair stick that I bought from RAIN and I was ticked off until I thought about it and reaslized "My hair is THICK!"

Now its thick enough that I need about 4 amish pins to hold my hair in a bun or 2 figure eight mini knots.

neat. Now however plastic hair toys, and cheap wood hair toys are NOT an option. I have to use THICK Bamboo Hair sticks or Hardwood Forks.

Whoever said long hair was cheaper obviously never bought a ficarre!

Gahh I wish I can break hairsticks due to length. I snapped my poor hairstick when I sat on it one time, haha.
