Especially that the wave was still there after combing makes me think it's 2a, 1c waves tend to be more fragile (and not as pronounced). That's really very wavy... | | | February 16th, 2007, 12:19 PM | #4 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: USA Age: 34 Posts: 1,533 Length: ??/25/waist Type: 2a/F/iii | I think 2a, too. __________________ The voices may not be real, but they have some pretty good ideas. | | | February 16th, 2007, 12:27 PM | #5 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Bay Area, California (Richmond) Age: 25 Posts: 912 Length: SL/Ear/MBL Type: 4a/C/iii | I think it's 2a, also. So yeah I'm going with 2a as well __________________ Braidwaves...Journal Photos :Current Length: 35" :Immediate Goal: 37" (TB) :Next goal: Classic (43") :Final Goal: Terminal (hopefully at least knee), healthy Lady Fraeznowe, Guardian of the Hedgehog in the Order of the Long Haired Knights ~Don't you DARE even THINK about being normal around ME!~ | | | February 16th, 2007, 12:40 PM | #7 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Australia Age: 28 Posts: 109 Type: 2c/3a/M/ii | I say go the 2a. However, it may shift to 2a as your hair gets a little longer. __________________ My journal Routine: coconut oil (prewash), shikakai/amla tea (wash), hibiscus/elderflower/honey tea (condition), aloe vera gel and jojoba oil (leave-in), shea butter once hair dries | | | February 16th, 2007, 02:23 PM | #9 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: CA coast Posts: 1,339 Length: 24/26.25/waist Type: 2a/F/i/ii | Hey! Your hair looks like mine (just in the texture, not color). The no-touch picture looks like 2a and the combed one looks like 1c. That's why I put down mine as 1c/2a, but I think we're really supposed to use the no-touch hair for typing, so I guess we're both 2a. The thing is, I don't feel right putting that down because most of the time my hair looks like your 2nd picture, which I think is a 1c. | | | February 16th, 2007, 02:28 PM | #10 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: heartland Age: 45 Posts: 154 Length: pixie/pixie/bsl Type: 1a/F/i | I'd say go with 2a as well, because I consider myself a 1a and I am wayyyy straighter than you. You have very nice waves by the way! | | | February 16th, 2007, 02:29 PM | #11 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Jan 2006 Age: 40 Posts: 270 Length: 35/40/45+ Type: 1c/2a/F/M/ii | I think you am type 2a. I think it has too much of a natural wave to be a 1. | | | February 16th, 2007, 04:20 PM | #13 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,032 Length: 5"/25.75/WL Type: 3c/C/iii | Ok, I'm so bad at this - will leave the real advice to the experts - just wanted to say, your hair is very pretty! __________________ There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion. ~Francis Bacon Photos | | | February 16th, 2007, 10:27 PM | #14 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Finland Age: 21 Posts: 122 Length: chin/21.5/BSL Type: 1b/1c/M/ii | It's definitely a 2, and I'd actually say 2a/2b. I voted for 2b - wow, I feel like an outsider now __________________ Jul 2006 ------ Feb 2007 Lady Sorayah, Victor of Youth in the Order of the Long Haired Kights | | | February 16th, 2007, 10:36 PM | #15 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Deep in the South Age: 32 Posts: 1,125 Length: pixie/26/???
