For the last six-seven weeks I have worn my hair in a high ponytail. Today I decided it was time for a change.  I put all my hair back and then I twisted it an made a bun. Finally I put two hair-sticks Voila! It looks kind of messy , but the hairdo lasted all day  so I am pleased. I am wearing my hair in a messy twist with a Ficcare, like the pics in my siggy show. I can't wait till my hair is longer again, so I can do nice cinnamon buns and figure-8 buns again and use all my nice hairsticks and forks.

A figure 8 bun held up by a fakkare. Considering what the weather will be like here today (gale force winds and rain), wearing hair loose is a bad idea. Today mine is in a ponytail. I tied it up whilst still wet (with a little coconut oil run through the ends) and the tail has dried in ringlets.

I'm wearing my first official updo! It's now long enough to wear in an updo without most of it falling out.
I have it in a scrunchie ponybun (dont know if that's the proper name, but it's basically a ponytail secured with a snagfree band, then wrapped round to form a bun, secured over the top with a red velvet scrunchie. Right now my hair is down as I enjoy my coffee. I'll get frustrated or hot in a bit and prolly bun it up.
Does anyone else do the instrument free buns like I do? I dont know what they are called but for a quck bun I usually twist up my hair like I'm going to do a bun but then run the ends of my hair though the center of the twist and make a "knot?" My hair just got long enough again to do this.
