My hair is super shiney and I am exited. All the color without amonia! I'm hoping it will last a long time in my hair. After all, I'm going dark, and dark colors usually stain the hair. It was super easy to use too. I washed my hair first (per the directions) and then put it in a Roots Only bottle and put it on. It was like applying hair conditioner and there was no burn or tingle...or aweful ammonia smell. I'm so happy! And it's a professional line too, so I'm sure it will last. __________________ One day I was walking through the mall. Their line is quite well liked and they have 2 uses for their quasi permanent...one is to colour hair, but also because of the shine effect they give you can use it as what they call a "hair manicure" Basically you use the same colour as your natural colour but get a very glossing vibrancy enhancing effect. I admit i've seen people come into the salon with such dull dry looking hair and walk out looking like a pantenne commercial. However, i would bear in mind that this product does still contain peroxide, so whilst it may have a wonderful effect in the early days, long term use is likely to alter the structure of the hair. __________________ The heart would have no rainbow, had the eyes no tears. | | | October 3rd, 2006, 09:07 AM | #3 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Vol Country Age: 53 Posts: 2,488 Length: 21/26/WAIST Type: 2c/3a/M/iii | | Re: Goldwell Colorance Acid Semi Perm. hair color | | I used permanent color on my roots for years without that much damage. My hair is pretty resiliant though. Just recently I switched to semi-perm since I am trying to grow my hair longer. If you just touch up the roots every time you should be fine. The problem is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to only get the color on the roots so you inevitably get some on the other hair each time too. Even so, if you stop other bad things, you will probably be okay. I ordered some Robert Craig and got it in the mail the other day. I am anxious to see the results. I hope they are as good as yours! Did you order yours or did you have to get someone with a license to buy it for you? __________________ I am really loving my wurly curls for the first time in my life! Still I recently stopped because like ChloeDharma said- it still contains peroxide. My hair is not damaged though after years of using it 0_o Im surprised.. I also noticed the great shine. My hair is less shiney since I stopped using it but I dnt mind. Well Im going to continue my experiment. My hair might be even better without it. Theres one thing I dont like about it though..It barely fades out. Almost a little too permanent, but others probably think no fading is good^^. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
