Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

I wish I knew....I've been having a hard time finding any of the alberto balsam line and I'm in Toronto where you'd think we had a good selection!! The only one I've found is Free Me Fresia at a Fortino's

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

Yeah all I can seem to find is the Oasis line which is no good for me since I'm cone free. I lucked out finding the Free Me Freesia. I've checked walmart, a bunch of shoppers and other grocery stores with nothing. I'll keep my eyes open for ya though

Trish, I forgot - I see the Alberto you're talking about at Dominion all the time. Hope that helps!

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

Ugh, me too!
I've been all over London looking for SKR, and all I can find (grocery stores, WalMart, dollar stores) is the Oasis stuff, which I don't want.
I really wish I could find some!
Heh, maybe we'll have to put in an order to the States just to get conditioner ^_~

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

I found some in a very yellow bulk-type grocery store in Ottawa once, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name of the place. I think it might have been a chain.

I see the Albertos sometimes in Sobeys/IGA in Alberta, so they might be there out east too. You have those, right? I don't think there are Safeways out east, which is the store here that always has them.

Very yellow?
Sounds like No Frills to me. (www.nofrills.ca)

I hadn't checked one of those yet. I'll try there today. ^_^

I hope the line is not being discontinued. You could see about ordering a case or two from the company and that way you well have lots on hand.

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

I find that the drugstores and chain grocery stores are carrying fewer and fewer brands and really pumping the few that they carry. Tons of stuff that used to be at Shoppers is gone now. I rely on drugstore.com for all of my "can't find it in Canada anymore" stuff.

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

I haven't looked for it for a long time, but my source when I used it was the No Frills at Dundas W. and Lansdowne. I wonder if you could give them a call and see if they still stock it.

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

I visited two No Frills and a Food Basics in London today, and no luck. Just the Oasis stuff.

Does shipping get more practical the more you buy? I just went to drugstore.com to see how much it would be to get a bottle of SKR, and it ended up being over $20.
Order Subtotal (CAD) 2.70
US Shipping & Handling 6.78
International Shipping & Handling 11.65
Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Insurance 0.61
Order Total (CAD) 21.75

As much as I was looking for this, $20 for a single bottle of SKR is too high for me. :/

Re: trying to find SKR in ontario

I found these at two locations today (by chance!)

Pharma Plus
No Frills

They had the SKR, Tangerine Tickle and Strawberries and cream (and lots of them)
