I lucked out finding the Free Me Freesia. I've checked walmart, a bunch of shoppers and other grocery stores with nothing. Hope that helps! __________________ Looked up to the Lord above and said, "Hey man, thanks". - Gord Downie, The Tragically Hip | | | July 11th, 2006, 09:51 AM | #7 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Toronto Age: 29 Posts: 607 Length: 20/27.5/Hip Type: 2b/F/ii | | Re: trying to find SKR in ontario | | VSkye ---> Dominion huh?? That's probably the only grocery store that isnt within walking distance to my house so maybe thats why I haven't seen it. I will have to stop at one next time I pass by. I've been all over London looking for SKR, and all I can find (grocery stores, WalMart, dollar stores) is the Oasis stuff, which I don't want. I really wish I could find some! Heh, maybe we'll have to put in an order to the States just to get conditioner ^_~ __________________ 1st goal: Bra Strap Length: Goal Reached! 2nd goal: Mid-back 3rd goal: Waist length | | | July 11th, 2006, 08:12 PM | #9 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: May 2005 Location: Quebec, Canada Age: 28 Posts: 1,381 Length: 0cm/84/125cm Type: 2c/M/ii | | Re: trying to find SKR in ontario | | I found some in a very yellow bulk-type grocery store in Ottawa once, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name of the place. I think it might have been a chain. I see the Albertos sometimes in Sobeys/IGA in Alberta, so they might be there out east too. You have those, right? I don't think there are Safeways out east, which is the store here that always has them. | | | July 12th, 2006, 04:57 AM | #10 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Guelph, Ontario Age: 32 Posts: 124 Length: 15/25.5/30 Type: 1c/2a/M/ii | | Re: trying to find SKR in ontario | | Quote: | Originally Posted by Laoise I found some in a very yellow bulk-type grocery store in Ottawa once, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name of the place. I'll try there today. ^_^ __________________ 1st goal: Bra Strap Length: Goal Reached! 2nd goal: Mid-back 3rd goal: Waist length | | | July 12th, 2006, 05:51 AM | #11 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 643 Length: 28/31/45 Type: 2b// | | Re: trying to find SKR in ontario | | I hope the line is not being discontinued. You could see about ordering a case or two from the company and that way you well have lots on hand. | | | July 12th, 2006, 07:06 AM | #12 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Toronto Age: 43 Posts: 194 Length: 16/16/35 Type: 2b/2c/F/i | | Re: trying to find SKR in ontario | | I find that the drugstores and chain grocery stores are carrying fewer and fewer brands and really pumping the few that they carry. Tons of stuff that used to be at Shoppers is gone now. I rely on drugstore.com for all of my "can't find it in Canada anymore" stuff. | | | July 12th, 2006, 07:18 AM | #13 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: May 2004 Location: Toronto Age: 58 Posts: 3,648 Length: 23.5/32/35 Type: 2c/M/i/ii | | Re: trying to find SKR in ontario | | I haven't looked for it for a long time, but my source when I used it was the No Frills at Dundas W. and Lansdowne. I wonder if you could give them a call and see if they still stock it. __________________ Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks. I just went to drugstore.com to see how much it would be to get a bottle of SKR, and it ended up being over $20. Order Subtotal (CAD) 2.70 US Shipping & Handling 6.78 International Shipping & Handling 11.65 Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Insurance 0.61 Order Total (CAD) 21.75 As much as I was looking for this, $20 for a single bottle of SKR is too high for me. :/ __________________ 1st goal: Bra Strap Length: Goal Reached! 2nd goal: Mid-back 3rd goal: Waist length | | | July 13th, 2006, 03:47 PM | #15 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Home of The Hip Age: 33 Posts: 485 Length: BSL/?/?
