Lately I've been wearing my hair in a simple three strand braid. Nothing fancy, no hairtoys. Guess it's the hot weather. (Usually I wear a cinnamon bun, but I guess my habit's changed.)

An English (or Dianyla) braid, folded upwards and held at the nape by a barrette. I'm not sure if it's my favorite but I've been putting my hair up into a figure-8 bun just because it's easy. I prefer the look of a braided cinnamon bun but it's more work and half the time it doesn't turn out right. It ends up looking more like a braided bee butt.  In fact, I can never get a plain cinnamon bun to work. My hair simply wants to coil beneath itself. I have been wearing my hair down a lot, putting it up in a damp bun only when I have to. I haven't worn my hair down this much for well over 4 years. It feels good, I like it a lot...  __________________

Since coming to LHC I've discovered a whole bunch of updos I can actually do! I've been alternating each day between bun held by a beak clip, chinese bun, figure 8/infinity bun and braided bun.
