FAO Lush henna uses question

How much of a block of henna do you use? One or two of the squares that are moulded in or the whole thing?

I used to use Lush henna all the time but haven't for about 5 years as there isn't a shop near me, just ordered some and can't remember how much I used to use. My hair is about 35" and quite thirsty.

Is the Lush block of henna in soap like form? So you could use it daily as a rinse, or it is made to be used like other hennas?
