can anyone rec a good color deposit conditioner?

I was going to try Aveda clove but discovered at the Aveda store that it now has cyclopentasiloxane in it. Why is everybody putting this cone into their products? I'm not totally cone phobic, but this particular one is disastrous to me. I even noticed some new Nature's Gate products have this near the top of the list! Grrrrr!
Anyway, I'm trying to reduce some brassiness at the ends of my dark brown 3a/b hair and don't want to damage it further w/any color. I really wanted to try Biolage Earth Tones, but of course, it's been dc'd and it has only amodimethicone, which my hair actually likes...
Thanks in advance for any recs.

Have you met Henara? Im not sure whats in it though, it has been a while since I used it. On my mums dark dark hair it seemed to add reddish tones though.
I have bleached ends on my hair and used henna and indigo gloss to tone them in with the rest of my hair, made them shiney too!

Did you say Henara? I've never heard of it. I'm actually trying to get away from red. I don't like the way it looks in my hair. I want more like dark chocolate brown. Thanks!

Re: can anyone rec a good color deposit conditioner?

I've used Paul Penders Color Me Naturally conditioner in the Pearl color to remove brassiness from my blonde hair. It's very strong, I found I didn't have to use it every time I washed to maintain the color, maybe only once a month. I could also use a tiny bit as a leave-in, so that's convenient. Here are the ingredients, no cones but it does have parabens:

Purified Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sorbitol, Castor Oil, Soybean Oil, LevensEssentie (Paul Penders synergistic herbal extract includes: Angelica, Arnica, Calendula, Chamomile, Comfrey, Elderflower, Ginger, Ginseng Root, Honeysuckle, Hops, Horsetail, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Nettle, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, St. John's Wort, Witch Hazel, Yarrow), Essential Oil of Lemon, Methyl and Propyl Paraben. Basic colors Red, Blue, and Yellow derived from Mineral Salts.
