dry scalp and using lotion..I have questions

Hmm, it seems that there are lots of people here with dry itchy scalps.

I have read some of the other threads. I am considering trying Luberderm lotion on my scalp. Is there a good way to apply it without making a mess of my hair? Maybe just put a tiny bit on my finger tips and then give myself a scalp massage? I guess I could do it at night, and then wash in the morning.

Thanks!

Louise

That's how I would do it, that is I have put a little
oil on my scalp that way and it works. When the scalp is
dry it just absorbs that right up, and it doesn't
affect the hair. At least for me.

Hi!

I'm the one who recommended Lubriderm lotion to cure a dry, itchy scalp. A little goes a long way. I apply two dollops of lotion on a clean plate and then dip each fingertip into the lotion so that all ten fingertips have lotion on them. (It's really the balls of my fingers that I'm dipping into the lotion.) Then I massage the lotion into my scalp. Sometimes, I dipped my fingertips into the lotion once, other times twice. It depends upon how my scalp felt. The lotion starts soothing the scalp on contact.

I hope that helps. Feel free to ask questions.
