How do you wash your hair?

To those that have what we here would call long hair already: How do you wash?

I CO wash most of the time, and use shampoo once or twice a week. What about you, Kati? I remember that you use shampoo, but not the method you like to use.

I voted CWC, letting the shampoo rinse down the length, but just as often I hold the length out of the way when rinsing. Depends on my mood.

I usually wash my hair once or twice a week....shampoo only from the nape of the neck up, and then conditioner from the nape of the neck down. I rinse the shampoo out without doing anything special, and then after conditioning, wrap the hair into a low bun and secure it with smooth plastic hairsticks while I finish the rest of my shower. I'll rinse the conditioner out last thing.

Hey Kati

I've started washing less, two or three days between washing the whole head of hair. I've been either rinsing with water, keeping my length dry by wearing plastic around a scrunchi bun or washing just my hair line with shampoo using the same method mentioned before. I'm also doing whole scalp washes with a scrunchi bun covered in plastic. I've only been doing this for a short time.

Sometimes I've just bunned and that's it, if I haven't been sweating from working out, I'll just put it up and keep it out of the way.

When I wash my whole head, length and all, I just use shampoo and then oil when I get out. got off topic there for a little bit, sorry.

I use a 2-in-1 (Garnier Fructis; almost all 2-in-1's do a very poor job), and lightly oil ends and apply leave-in afterward. I usually damp oil the hair the night before (so hair is somewhat protected during washing).

I wash once a week and I do a CWC wash. I try to wash on Sunday night so I'm not *too* offensive for work on Friday, but my hair is not very greasy, so it's not really a problem.

Wow, once a week! I wish I could do that - I mean I can, but I don't feel I can wear my hair down anymore after, say, four days. Not that I do wear it down all that often, but I like to be able to choose
So it's C/O twice a week for me, and the odd WC every few weeks.

Lexy, are you wearing your hair up or down towards the end of the week?

CO rules!

I CWC once every 7 to 10 days. The rest of the time I use CO, and it works like a charm! Use CWC after yard work or a night of hot flashes! Then use Infusium 23 leave in and oil on the ends, yes both at once, my ends are dry as paper without it.

I wash-condition. Boring, I know. I wash only the scalp and let the suds run down the length, then I condition from the ears down. I let it set while I finish everything else, then I rinse. I tried CO, and it worked miserably for me.

I really vary. I almost always CO wash 2 out of my 3 weekly washes. I sometimes do it for all 3.

When I'm not CO washing, I'm either using Garnier Fructis 2-in-1, doing a clarifying wash with Neutrogena's Anti-Residue, or testing one of my Kenra samples. ;-) I .sometimes. CWC, but not usually.

Cheers,
Jonobie

1. Apply conditioner to my hair
2. While conditioner is in my hair, wash the rest of my body
3. Shampoo my scalp
4. Rinse shampoo and condtioner at the same time

I once worked out a set routine and have yet to stick to it. I WC about 3 times a week - I flip head - shampoo scalp - rinse - condition all over - pile on top of head - use hot water as a heater (its cold here!!!) then rinse rinse rinse. Couple of times a week I do CO wash. I'm too implusive to stick to set days of washing. Totie..

I almost always wear my hair up. Otherwise I mess with it all day.
