The Long Hair Community - New Growth-I am so Happy!

I hadn't been really paying attention to the monthly measurement threads too much and had not been measuring, but someone in mentioned in my hair pic thread that they noticed a change in the length of my hair my mom measured my hairjust a second ago. I noticed that my hair has grown 5 inches in the last 2 months. That is after going 6 months without significant growth Pre LHC. So what I am trying to say is Thank You LHC, you rock!

Here are my new Hair stats:

I shaved my head down to 1 inch October 2003.

I was at 25 inches 2 months ago.

I am at 29 Inches now

My Goal is 50 inches or Waist Length whichever I get to first.

I am so happy about this growth!!!!!! Thank you all for your support! I love you all!

You rock!

My Hubby is going to faint with joy when he sees this!!!!!

Wow. Five inches in two months. I'm in awe. Congratulations. I'm trying my best not to get jealous here *waits impatiently for her own hair to grow*.

congrats! hopefully this year my hair will grow to the middle of my back at the end of this year. Good luck to you let that hair keep growin'.

25" to 29".( I think that is actually 4 inches not five) That is some amazing growth you"ve got going there!!!! well done.

Wow 4 inches or 5 inches that is amazing Congratulations hope that keeps up for you you will be at 50 before you know it.

LOL I wish my hair could be like that. Yeah what did you use and what did you do!? In the past 2 months my hair has grown a little less than an inch! argg

Thank you for your compliment. First off I take a Multivitamin as well as a Calciun Supplement and Vitamin B12 I also take Glucosamine-Chondroiton for my bad ankles and wrists.

Here is my daily hair routine:
I CO- Conditioner Only Wash, here is an article on ho to do it: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/...rticle&artid=4
Then using a wide toothed comb and Therma Silk Detangler and Leave in conditioner. I try not to blow-dry however if I have to blow dry, I ALWAYS use a Heat Protectant such as VO5 Miracle or Tressame (sp?) Heat Tamer.
I have given up the use of Hairbrushes except on my fringe and only use a wide toothed comb or a hair pick.

Congratulations! I also measured my hair yesterday and i've had an inch growth, not as much as your 5 inches!, but needless to say I was over the moon.
