I'm sure some ladies (or men) can have frizzy hair year-round. I just know that I notice more frizz in the humid months. I get strands that would qualify me as a 2a if all my hair decided to behave like that. I think that depending on your hair type, some frizz is natural and not necessarily an indication of damage. My top layers are dry and frizzy yet the underneath is so baby soft and shiny, have you also coloured? If not I would agree with the other girls just humidity. I have also read alot from here and tried different things, my hair is getting better everyday. Lots of moisture and a sense of humor helped me. Posts: 2,339 | I am a natural born frizzball, and I have frizz year-round. Some days my hair is smoother or frizzier than others because of the weather or how I'm wearing my hair or how long it's been since I've shampooed, but I've ALWAYS got frizz -- it's just the nature of my particular hair type. __________________ 2/F-M/ii Caramel brown with gold and copper highlights and a growing barrage of silvers. | | | June 29th, 2003, 07:10 AM | #8 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2003 Location: Buffalo, NY Age: 32 Posts: 664 Type: 1a/F/M/ii | yeah. on humid days, the breakage/shorter hairs in my top layer all curls up and sticks out, making it more noticeable. __________________ _______________________________________ Generic Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo Generic Sebastian Potion 9 or BWC Leave-In | | | June 29th, 2003, 07:14 AM | #9 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: May 2003 Posts: 1,500 Type: 1b/1c/C/iii | I get frizz on just that top layer with humidity. Especially if I've been out walking in hot humid weather and worked up a sweat, then my whole head goes Poof! with frizz. I kind of like it. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
