I didn't find much mention of it on the board. Looks pretty gentle to me. Ingredients: Purified Water, Cocamide DEA (from coconut oil), Tea Tree Oil, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Babassu Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil, Geranium Oil, Chamomile Oil, Sodium Salt, Methylparaben, Citric Acid. It has no SLS. I have used it in the past (along with the matching conditioner) with really good results. I would buy them both again. __________________ | | | December 20th, 2005, 06:02 AM | #3 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2005 Age: 44 Posts: 504 Type: 1a/F/i | | Re: Desert Essence Daily Replenshing Shampoo...question... | | Thank you for the response . | | | December 22nd, 2005, 03:12 PM | #4 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Dallas Age: 34 Posts: 885 Length: 15 in/20 in/30 in Type: 1b/F/ii | | Re: Desert Essence Daily Replenshing Shampoo...question... | | I never tried the shampoo, but loved the conditioner. I would buy that shampoo is I could find it. It looks very gentle to me. __________________ ~Jennifer~ I went down by the river side, that runs between the hazel'd halls, And on an apple-blossomed hill, I slept beside the golden falls. Most health food stores do, too. __________________ | | | December 22nd, 2005, 04:37 PM | #6 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Dallas Age: 34 Posts: 885 Length: 15 in/20 in/30 in Type: 1b/F/ii | | Re: Desert Essence Daily Replenshing Shampoo...question... | | Quote: | Originally Posted by Neoma Jennifer, DrugStore.com sells it online. I used them this morning, and my hair looks and feels terrific. I'm not so crazy about the smell of the shampoo (typical tea tree oil scent -- I don't hate it, but I don't love it, either), but the smell of the conditioner drives me crazy and lingers all day. It's not a perfume fragrance -- I think it's just a happy blending of all the EO's and oils. I bought these again because my poor hair has been acting moisture-starved for the first time in my life. I knew from experience that this shampoo is extremely gentle. I thought it was the Cocamide MEA (from coconut oil) in this shampoo that was the cleansing agent, but in another thread Flaxen said that Tea Tree Oil was evidently one of the cleansing agents since it was so high on the ingredient list: Purified Water, Cocamide MEA (from coconut oil), *Organic Tea Tree Oil (see *organic statement in product detail), Hydrolized Wheat Protein, Babassu Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil, Geranium Oil, Chamomile Oil, Sodium Salt, Methylparaben, Citric Acid
Today, I don't have any evidence of winter dryness. __________________ | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
