I bought biotin the other day. And it said that one of the other ingredients is silica. I worked in a pharmacy for seven years and there is no way I would take anything while pregnant(OTC or not) without checking with my doctor. Pharmacists (at least in the US) are not allowed to make any suggestions when it comes to pregnancy. They will refer you to your doctor-liability being what it is and the fact that they aren't specifically trained in obstetrics. I'd put in a quick call to the doctor.
