Shelleybean :)

I just love browsing through your journal!
I especially love the progress pics,
it really seems your hair grows fast and in no time youŽll have
your goal lenght.
It also is encouraging to see there really are people with patience
in growing...meaning your goals
to shoulders with layers
to shoulders with no layers
and from there on
For the love of God I could never do it myself but
I just wanted to give you these flowers for sharing your growing story.
Your natural colour is absolutely stunning!

Happy growings!

Re: Shelleybean :)

Hi Viviane,

Thank you so much! I'm glad someone is reading my silly little journal.

I guess I've done this growing out thing a few times so I kind of know the drill. I think I'm lucky in that my hair has been almost waist length before so I know it's possible. It would be harder I think if you've never had the hair you want before.

The only thing I can do is try to live with/be happy with my hair in all it's stages. No sense making it harder than it has to be.

Re: Shelleybean :)

I just went and dawdled over your journal. Loved reading it. I used to have a dog named Lucy, so I could go around saying, "I love Lucy."

As for your hair, it is making lovely progress. It's such a great colour and texture, and both are being showcased as you grow it out. I especially like the style with the mini clip holding it back off your face. Truly. I think it looks good pulled up and back like that.

And congrats on the weight loss!

OK, better do some work. Thanks for the great reading...

Re: Shelleybean :)

Thanks PB & Sally! I'm glad you're enjoying my journal. It's fun to keep a chronicle of the process. Last time I grew it out we didn't have a digital camera so there really aren't that many pics of the process so I'm having fun taking lots of pictures this time. *crossing fingers* Hopefully this will be my last growing out experience!

Heee heee I do have a tendency to run around after Lucy saying "oooo Lucy" in my very lame Desi Arnez impersonation. I'm sure she thinks I'm crazy. The kitties humor us and dole out the kisses as they see fit.

I'm having a tough time with the clip these days. I'm finding that something that looks good one day can look completely weird in a week or so. Headbands are the thing right now I feel more comfortable in them than the clip at the moment. I'm sure that will change in a few weeks. LOL!
