I got my LisaJaney pillowcases!

They are sooo nice. :shock: :shock: I already had silk pillowcases, but these are so much smoother and sturdier. Heavy fabric, and lots more "slip". Cream, to match my sheets, so hopefully my family won't notice and give me grief. Thanks, LisaJaney!

At the same time got a satin sleep cap from Maverickwear. Fits well, stays on, but I didn't get to choose the color and ended up with black. So not only do I look like an old granny, I look like a dead old granny. No matter, so long as it works.

Being the demented geek that I am I decided to do a little experiment. Three nights each, on cotton, silk, satin, silk+cap, and satin+cap. Outcome = average number of comb-strokes it takes to detangle my hair in the morning. Will post results in a couple weeks.

Oh, I LOVE scientific experiments! DO post your findings! I am very glad you like the cases, too! I have loved mine for YEARS!

Have to get to the post office to mail off some other "things" I made lately! Gonna ride my bike (an old-lady bike with a seat so big that a family of six could use it as a diningroom table, and the handlebars that curve back towards you so you don't have to rest so much on the arms.....Thinking of the music in Wizard of Oz when the crabby neighbor lady takes Toto in the lunchbasket....that's me, riding my bike through our small town! "and your little dog, too!")

Lisajaney, I just have to say, your hair looks great! When I first saw your PM, I thought, now what's she doing with Fox's pictures at the bottom of her post? All this time you've been hiding your hair and it looks so GOOD, you sly girl. Secret's out, now. Can't fool us again.
