Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

I tried this method yesterday. First I used my regular CO conditioner on my ends. Then I applied some Palmolive shampoo on my scalp, that I mixed with the same conditioner and dilluted with water before. After I rinsed the whole thing out, I used some Creme of Nature colour care conditioner.

Now it's all dry and I'm amazed about how much softer my ends are. My scalp is very clean, but my ends feel less frizzy and much softer.
Thanx for sharing this great method!!

Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

I've been using this method since I tried it for the first time. I love it.
I have a small bottle in the shower, add water a little bit of shampoo, a little bit of conditioner, shake it and pour it over my scalp. Hair gets really clean and very soft.
Great tip!

Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

This really works AnaisSatin. Here is the entry I put in my journal:

I washed my hair last night using the COW method. I'm telling you ladies, I'm not going back to doing regular poos again.

I pre-pooed with Queen Helene Cholesterol (covered w/plastic bag;left on for 1 1/2 hpurs), washed with Pantene Relaxed & Natural (2 capfuls) w/ VO5 Raspberry Conditioner (3 capfuls).

Afterwards I applied Black N' Sassy Carribean Leave-In (this is the best stuff) and Kemi Oyl on my ends. I the smell of this.

Tonight, I'm going to use Surge 14 on my scalp and regrowth and Black N' Sassy Break-Free Overnight Treatment.

Thanks for sharing your method.

Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

I'm planning to try this out tonight. My first shampoo as a member here. Can I use distilled water to mix the C/S in the squeeze bottle? I've not used it (Distilled H2O) before to wash my hair but I had planned to use it after reading some posts here. I'm wondering if the trying both strategies at the same time will leave me with too limp of hair to style it in the morning.
TIA
Cindy

Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

Hi Cindy,

Give it a shot - or a doubleshot.

If you plan on experimenting, I would recommend trying things one at a time, and giving each idea at least two tries before you give up.

Sugaplum, I'm glad it worked for you.

Hugs
Anais

Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

I have tried this method twice since my last post. I absolutely love it! I can barely keep my hands off of my hair and I'm wandering around at work having other people touch my hair.
Soft, shiny, yet easily manageable.
I used my old shampoo and conditioner mixed with distilled water but when I'm through with it I'll try some sulfate free products. I rinsed with tap water as the distilled water does'nt really seem that cost-effective for the entire process.
Thanks for the fab tip!

Re: C-COW-C: a fusion wash method

Wow! Earlier today I just posted in my journal that I had to use shampoo for the first time in a week and that I hated because I have gotten so spoiled by CO. I'm definitely trying this next time I need to shampoo. Thanks!
