Love the shampoo but ...... the conditioner This has happened with the Suave Professionals and the regular Suave before. I love the shampoo's. However the condtioners are not very moisturizing and make my hair feel like I didn't even use conditoner. Doesn't matter if the conditioner says moistuizing or not. It doesn't do anything for my hair. On thing is... I really like the conditoners for shave lotion. At least they have a good use there I think I need to quit trying the condioners and stick with the shampoos only __________________ Angel Hugs and Love I love cats because I love my home and after a while they become its visible soul. - Jean Cocteau If dogs are not there, it is not heaven. - Elisabeth M. Maybe if you could compare the ingredients list with other conditioner you didn't like it the past you could find THE ingredient or ingredients that don't compliment your hair and then you could stay away from those particulars. Just an idea | | | April 15th, 2003, 02:01 PM | #3 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Mar 2003 Location: Maryland Age: 29 Posts: 495 Length: 14/16/41 Type: 1c/C/iii | Hmmm..the conditioners work for me...if I let them set for a while, my hair is really soft....maybe your hair doesn't like one of the ingredients....they don't have any 'cones in them...at least not the ones I use.......does your hair like cones???? __________________ *~Starting Over From Scratch (March 31, 2006)~* buzzcut--14' measuring from hairline/20/Tailbone ~Journal~ ~Pictures~ | | | April 15th, 2003, 02:06 PM | #4 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,757 Length: 12/40.5/? The shampoos work just fine, but the conditioners don't do anything at all - not even detangle no matter how much I used. Cones or no cones, for my hair they're a waste of money. | | | April 15th, 2003, 02:55 PM | #6 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2003 Posts: 33 | I've had the same experience with Suave conditioners. They are too light. That's what makes them so good as CO washing conditioners. When CO washing, light is good! Anyway, that's my not-very-humble-opinion. I really liked the Pear and Canberrys shampoos they had last winter. I think it was mostly the scent. | | | April 15th, 2003, 04:41 PM | #9 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: Pacific Northwest Posts: 2,188 Type: 1a/1b/F/ii | I guess I"m in the minority here - I don't touch the shampoos cuz of the sulphates, but I just LOVE the humectress conditioner. I use it as a base and blend other conditioners and oils, etc. with it. It really boosts the blend this way, and it's so cheap, I can use tons of it. I love it! | I liked the humectress line too Axium. It has a coconuty smell too that was nice. And it made my hair feel moisterized (sic). __________________ Sometimes, I do like to push buttons. I've always enjoyed reading this one, and I think it's a sign of intelligence and education on your part to have thrown it into the vernacular. How geeky do I sound now? Just had to remark | hehe, I was too tired to actually look it up and my mouth didn't work right to spell it phonetically. A lot of times I look at my posts and I've got misspellings and I want to correct them, but can't. I figure most everyone ignores the typos (I'm bad about one hand typing faster than the other) and forgives the poster. Komodokaji: sic means spelled incorrectly __________________ Sometimes, I do like to push buttons.
