I thought Steph said it had to do with the number of posts for the user but if you go to the Member List it shows the number everyone has posted. Steph's said 50 when I looked but her stars are all dark. So that got me wondering if there's more to it than just the number of posts . . .

looks like Stephs is dark but so are all the Moderators

I don't see any difference between Steph's dark stars and the dark stars of the other Moderators -- help a girl out

So then what are we trying to achieve with our stars?

But aren't the stars for Owner and Moderator a color to draw attention to the fact that they are soooooooo "special"! <if only you could hear my tone of voice on THAT word! hahahaaha>

Anyway, if you notice, at the bottom of the "Boards page" their names are the same color as their stars, while us lonely post-ons (as opposed to peons/ hahahahaaha) are all the same color.

I don't know, but it makes sense in MY little head!
