The test is accurate. No surprise to find a vast majority of introverts on an on line BBS. ---=--- I don't have a signature with hair lengths and such. I don't have long hair myself, but my wife of 21 years has very silvery once black hair past her mid back. I found this friendship board pretty cool and would like to participate if I could. | I pulled this off the Myers Briggs thread.... and wanted to welcome you to the boards. (No one sneaks in here!) There are a few other guys who have wives with long hair, so you aren't alone. Does your wife get online too? It's great that you support her hair journey. btw, I think you meant INTJ? I'm an INTJ too, although sometimes I get ISTJ. INTJ's seem to have a flair for engineering/computer work. __________________ Sometimes, I do like to push buttons. And here I thought I could sneak a message. Hm, this is a different format of BBs I've never seen and will have to get used to. Actually, it was INTP, not INTV. I'm dyslexic to a degree, but subbing a v for a p is a new one.... I didn't know my wife when she started growing her hair, she was 8 yrs old. But I can give you some fun facts about it. 1. We had to have our rehearsal dinner in the middle of the week cause her hair took 2 full days in rollers due to the weight. It was hip length. The curl lasted about 3 hours. 2. She's been to a salon one time in the time we've been together. 3. She's never braided her hair. 4. Her hair has survived a bout with cancer. 5. She has quite an arenal of hair products in the bath room. I expieriment with some of them using a scientific method: inie mienie miney moe. 6. Sadly, she's considering a cut cause of all the gray. To answer another question, she doesn't get on line. We are up to 17 computers in the house and she don't like any of them. I try to read hair tips and figure a way to, uh, like make them appear in her mind like they're her idea. Thank you for the warm welcome and I hope to contribute to this friendship board. | | | April 2nd, 2003, 10:49 PM | #4 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: oxfordshire uk Age: 32 Posts: 1,653 Length: 21"/40"/43"cl Type: 1b/F/ii/iii | hello! | | | April 3rd, 2003, 01:53 PM | #5 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,152 | Welcome, roadrat! __________________ "What Fresh Hell Is This?" - Dorothy Parker | | | April 3rd, 2003, 02:12 PM | #6 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Feb 2003 Age: 55 Posts: 963 Type: 1a/M/ii | Welcome RoadRat! So since you didn't get away with sneaking it in <waving> HI! Quote: | Originally Posted by roadrat 4. Her hair has survived a bout with cancer. | Oh, Roadrat! Is she in remission, or what? I'm glad to hear she has "survived" cancer!!!!!!! I'm sure that was quite a challenge for her, and you! We have (or have had) several members who have survived and thrived after serious diseases! <saying a prayer of thanksgiving> Quote: | Originally Posted by roadrat .5. I've got 2 streaks growing, one on either side of my face, but in different locations (one is more hidden than the other). Gray can be SO distinguished! I truely believe the person's "feelings" about their gray shows in the "appearnce". Quote: | Originally Posted by roadrat .To answer another question, she doesn't get on line. And look what I got for MY addiction!!! . . . . all these great friends AND almost classic length hair!!! What a bargain!!! You know, Roadrat . . . "some" of us can be a bad influence <polishing my halo> on the wallets belong to other members. "MAYBE" some of these bad influences <innocently blinking> could persuade you into buying some great hair toys for your wife, then she will keep her hair! hahahahaahahahahahahahaha | | | April 4th, 2003, 04:07 AM | #8 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: middle of nowhere Age: 36 Posts: 2,238 Length: short/tlbn/??? (I post as NaturallyCurly on TLHS) | | | April 4th, 2003, 12:05 PM | #9 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Apr 2003 Posts: 30 | Ah, thanks for all the welcomes! Teacherbear: my wife has one hair toy, a ponytail band. If you got her to spend money on herself, you certainly would have a halo to shine. Her cutting talk has ceased for the time being. Time to recover from my mother's last (ahem) 'trim' on her of about 6 inches. Tammy, I see you got the signature all ironed out. Oh, and Naturally Curly, haven't seen you at a Fri. chat in a while. Hello to Teacherbear, Melusina, Willowcandra, Komodokaji, Snippet, all new names to get to know. For those who like to read, I'm writing a novel. | | | April 7th, 2003, 01:28 PM | #10 | | Long Hair Guru Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: middle of nowhere Age: 36 Posts: 2,238 Length: short/tlbn/??? Type: 3a/3b/F/M/ii | I haven't been in chat for awile 'cause hubby has been home. We've been entertaining friends, working on our house, and spending much needed time together. Doesn't leave much time for hanging out chatting | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
