Paging Meri.... About Biotin in Finland...

Moi!

I just wanted to let you know there is a bioting supplement called Biotisan made by Hübner (and imported by Reformikeskus) sold in pharmacies. Each tiny pill contains 2 500mcg of biotin!

It costs about 11 euros per 30 tabs and 27 euros per 90 tabs...

Are you in Helsinki, btw?

EXCELLENT! :Running off to queue behind pharmacy door until it opens:

So no tails for me then :-). I live in Espoo, so close enough. I'll go get some tomorrow- any recommendations as to which pharmacy to go to?

Thanks Valentina!

Hi!

Glad I could help! I waited for sooo long to have a biotin(-only) supplement sold in Finland... And Hübner is a high quality brand, too! e:

I got mine at Ympyrätalon apteekki, and I have seen Biotisan at Yliopiston apteekki, too. But it's worth asking at other places, too. Sometimes pharmacies hold stuff - especially vitamin stuff - "under the counter" or in the drawers below the actual shelves.

Ympyrätalon apteekki didn't carry the 90tab packet, but they ordered it for me when I asked. I'm not sure if YA carries the 90tabs, but I'm planning to ask...

Let me know if you found it!

And now I have some too!

I found some in Iso Omena, I bought the 90 tablet packet. Funny thing is I went in there a bit over a week ago and asked about Biotin in general, and they said they don't carry any.

And these pills are tiny! It feels so odd not to be swallowing 10+ pills any more... but in a good way.

Thank you. Again.

Hi there, both of you!

Meri - I'm glad you found Biotisan "in your neighbourhood":::

Jessica - Hi! We Finns seem to be really well represented here!

You know, I have many times thought about using those biotin-MSM supplements for pets, but never had the courage...
