CWC method?

What is the Condition-Wash-Condition method of washing hair supposed to do for hair? Currently I am doing mostly CO washing, and occasionally using Jessicurl HCC along with conditioner on other days.

Re: CWC method?

The first "C" that's put on the length does two jobs. It protects the length so that when shampoo is rinsed from the scalp area it doesn't strip away what little natural oil makes it down that far.

It also gently cleans the length-kind of like doing a CO only on the length.
The Big Question

oil: Japanese camellia
shampoo: Earthly Delight
leave-in: Shea It Ain't So
treatments: cassia; Phytologie Phytomoelle

Here's a link for the CWC method on our Articles and How to Board. It's very helpful in explaining the method and how it's done!

Re: CWC method?

I decided long ago that my ends didn't need shampoo very often. When I use it, I think I use it more because I think it is about time, not because my hair is dirty.

The first C is to gently clean my hair and to moisturize it. The second C is to do the same, only a second time . Then I actually C again with a leave in. The last to Cs give my hair slip and manageability.

So, really, I CWCC.

I use Giovanni products (50/50 shampoo, Smooth as Silk conditioner and Direct Leave In). My first C is left over products, though.

Re: CWC method?

Sometimes I CWC. Sometimes I oil first then WC, or use Burt's Bees avocado hair repair then CW. I use a leave in as well some days and oil every day.
