Cotton headband wearers

How exactly do you keep the hair from "bumping out" in the back???????????

Re: Cotton headband wearers

I'm trying to picture this, but I need a little help... You mean the circular cloth headbands that are elasticy, right? So you wear that hooped 'round your head at the forehead or thereabouts, down to the nape. Am I right? I think you won't have so much bumping if you can find a way to fold the part that's around your nap. I wear cloth bands around my head some times, and I have to really fold up the back a lot until it's a narrow strip. It doesn't like to stay folded, though, so I tend to have to keep tucking it back under itself or just completely redoing it. Maybe with a headband you could fold over part of it and stitch it a bit to hold?

Re: Cotton headband wearers

Thanks...yes, that's exactly the kind I meant. I just found out it's called a "bandeau" headband. Now of course I'm all over the net looking for them...LOL...although I got this one at Sally's and it seems fine.

Thanks for the help...I'm going to try to fold it in the back. It seems like it might stay. I do LOVE the way it looks in the front, though.

Re: Cotton headband wearers

Yeah, I love the look of a cloth band... I should buy some cotton "bandeau" headbands (I didn't know what they were called either). They seem like they'd be less hassle then having to fold up a piece of cloth all the time.
