On my mother!
She wants to grow her hair out now, after years of having it short. A couple years ago we coaxed her away from the curled, hairsprayed bangs and the kinda-mullet... so now she's growing out from a pixie. Figured the SMT might help.
She's got thick, straight hair (1a/M/iii) naturally a dark brown with some blonde/red highlights. She's dyeing to cover her gray which is getting a bit more plentiful (she's coming up on fifty.) She's comtemplating letting the gray grow out with her hair, but isn't sure if she's quite ready to do so. She likes hairspray, but is willing to give it up once her bangs are long enough to hold with a headband or somesuch.
Any suggestions for her? Grow out the gray? Keep dyeing? Henna (She loves red highlights...)? She doesn't really have a goal length at the moment, she just doesn't want to look like her mother, who has a pixie. Besides that, she misses her long hair.
Maybe I can drag her into LHC.
