I decided to give an old childhood favorite, No More Tangles, a try - and it's working really well. I use it after washing on wet hair, and the comb slides right through. Here is the ingredients list: No More Tangles Water, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Sodium Benzoate, Dimethicone, Hydroxyethyl Behenamidopropyl Dimonium Chloride, Polysorbate 20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Trisiloxane, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Ceteth-10, Laureth-4 Not for people who only use cone-free products, but those of you who don't mind cones might want to give it a try. And if anyone is/has already tried this product, I'd love to hear your experiences. | | | December 30th, 2007, 04:28 PM | #2 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Dec 2007 Age: 30 Posts: 38 Length: APL/APL/Waist Type: 2a/F/M/ii | My hair can't handle regular use of cone products, but every now and then a little cone doesn't hurt it. I always have a bottle of this stuff on hand in case of a big tangle. I think it smells great too! | | | December 30th, 2007, 06:15 PM | #3 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Houston, TX Age: 30 Posts: 79 Length: chin/neck/bsl Type: 4b/C/ii/iii | Speaking of J&J products, my father only uses Baby Shampoo on his hair and he says its the only thing that keeps his scalp dandruff free. Hmm, makes me want to try it. :-) | | | December 30th, 2007, 06:15 PM | #4 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Houston, TX Age: 30 Posts: 79 Length: chin/neck/bsl Type: 4b/C/ii/iii | I think sometimes, it's best to keep things simple. I think i'm trying to make things too complicated unnecessarily. | | | December 30th, 2007, 06:47 PM | #5 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Nov 2007 Age: 32 Posts: 38 Length: 23/27/32 Type: 1c/2a/F/ii | Thanks for your input, guys! I actually just switched back to a cone-free routine, so I probably won't be using this product for a while, but I still think it's a great detangler. Marms, I like the smell too! (Even though it doesn't smell the same as it did when I was a kid. ) | | | December 30th, 2007, 07:22 PM | #6 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: California Age: 18 Posts: 82 Length: SL/20"/waist Type: 1b/M/ii | I used to use that all the time when I was younger! It was the only way I'd let my mom comb my hair out. Just recently I bought some natural detangler that smells like candy. Yum! | | | January 1st, 2008, 07:26 PM | #7 | | Long Hair Devotee Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Charleston, SC Posts: 44 Length: 20"/31"/40" Type: 3a/M/ii | I have used this stuff forever! Love it, especially in the summer...I use it after the pool or beach. | | | January 28th, 2008, 12:55 PM | #8 | | Long Hair Admirer Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 5 Length: 22/22/32 Type: 3a/3b// | I also use No More Tangles esspecially during the summer months when we are in a hurry to go boating or dry camping. Just spray and go is easy when you are in a hurry. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
