Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking on this site for a while, and I really like it - I've learned so much! So I decided that I needed to introduce myself and say thanks for posting such wonderful stuff!
As for my hair, I am growing it out from a very short pixie cut. It is about 13.25 inches long, but about three inches of that is naturally layered (from having the pixie cut), and I want to get rid of all the layers before i proceed with the growing, so at this point it's mainly a process of growing and then cutting off more of the longer layers. It is 2bFii and of a sort of strawberry-blonde color. I can't wait to see what happens to it as it grows out longer!
After a lot of experimentation and investigation here, I may have stumbled upon a routine that works well for me. I CO every night and apply a really tiny amount of EVOO to the tips and over the outer layer of hair. I just started COing, and it really seems to work well, although my scalp is not yet adjusted. Once a week I shampoo, do an ACV rinse (which is amazingly wonderful!), and condition. Right now I like the Suave Naturals line for CO and Salon Selectives Completely Drenched for the s/c once a week (hehehe, yeah, I'm cheap ;) ).
Anyway, I mainly just wanted to say hi :waving: to all of you. I might not be around a lot of the time, but the obsession is definitely already growing...
So have a nice day, everyone!
