This is a 2-Layer Celluloid Hair Comb with olivine rhinestones, probably from the Art Deco and approximately 100 years old. It is in good condition and only one stone is missing. I have never worn it and it is to pretty to lay in the drawer.

E. - I totally read over the fact that one stone is missing! Yes, you are right, as a collector my hair combs have all their stones intact. Maybe someone else would like it to actually wear and enjoy (like you mentioned)! :D I have a similar one with blue stones and just want everyone to know that this is a gorgeous comb! Thanks again E.!

Hi E,

How much are you asking for said comb? I'd PM you, but I think it'll get lost with tomorrow's board switch. Feel freel to wait 'til we're back to PM me if you'd like.

I actually have a tortiseshell colored rather elaborate looking one of these - Maybe one of ya'll could direct me toward instructions on how you are supposed to wear one of these? I love it, but I don't know how to wear it. :(

I'd wear vertically it to hold a bun, like a hair fork. Have you tried that?
If you need instructions, take a look at my HP (http://www.haarkram.e-something.de).
