Inspired by LongRed's poll: How often do you blow-dry?

I very rarely blow-dry, only for special occasions - and that's maybe three times a year. :)

Never. I just don't. I own a blowdryer, but I use it like a heatgun. LOL.

I go out for work my head about
freezes, I do use the blow dryer
BUT only on a cool setting....
Helps with freezer head!

Every now and then. Maybe once a week or so if my hair is not dry in time for church.

I've used mine twice since I started growing out my bangs in May, And thats what I did to "smooth" them with the rest of my hair.
For years before that I'd only dried my bangs.

I sometimes blow dry when I visit my inlaws, especially if I've washed my hair and am going to church with them. It's a respect thing, mostly - I think they find it messy/disrespectful to go out with wet hair, so I try to accomodate them. But, I usually work it so that my hair is either up (and hence, not clearly wet), washed some other day than when we're going to church, or I don't go with them.

I have sometimes blown my hair dry if I had a special ocassion, but I'm just not really handy with a blowdrier, and my hair usually looks better air dried.

All and all, I think I blow dry my hair about once every 2-3 years.

i got rid of my blowdryer two years ago, and that's a good thing, because i can't be trusted with it. all too often i would heat my hair up until it was painful to touch :(

Rarely, the few times I hve done so is bc I was going out somewhere and I was late. Then I'm careful to have it on med low and blow dry to damp my roots only- being very careful of frizz.

I don't have time to let it air dry. Those of you that have that luxury should feel lucky. I let it dry in a towel for a half hour while I eat breakfast, shave, and get dressed. I make sure the fan is on low. I don't think my hair looks terrible due to the blow drying....

Maybe once every 2-3 weeks, and then I don't blow it completely dry.

There is no answer for me.

I blow-fry my bangs almost every day.

I never blow-fry the length!

I picked "never". Not because I have never-ever blown it dry . . . but because in the last 3 years I've blown it dry once. I'd say that qualifies more as Never than as Rarely! ;)
