something that im thinking about doing now, i guess because its spring break :D , is taking locks of my hair throughout my head and hennaing them. my hairs reddish blonde anyway, and im just hoping to have some random peices of bright red hair. i was just wondering peoples opinion on this, and also for you henna users, does this even sound feasable? i would put the goop on the clump of hair from root to tip, and then i guess just kind of wad it up into saran wrap. thats my plan so far anyway :D any advice or feedback is great, my family and friends are kind of hair clueless :)

Sounds like it would work, it's what you'd do with other types of dye. Test a strand first to make sure it doesn't turn into a color you don't want, especially if your hair is chemically treated already.

I think you could do it pretty easily. One time I did a strand test with henna and wanted to use the hair on my head so I took a chunk, painted the henna on and then rolled it up and put it in a little sandwitch bag with a elastic band around the base to hold it. It worked well.

I would say to do it like you would highlighting...

Get a highlighting cap, and pull the strands through you want highlighted, put the henna on them, and thenroll them up with saran wrap on them. That way, if the henna accidentally went onto other places, it would just be on the cap, and not on other parts of your hair...
