View Full Version : OMG!!!! GM TRIP YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LongRed December 28th, 2003, 03:02 AM Ok, to update all of you, this was
my VERY first GM appointment!!!!
Wow, Tresses was 100% right!!!
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWO!
Ok, I don't know where to begin!
Let's just say, my hair is gorgeous,
light and swingy!!! (I LOVE that
swing!)
My ends were very thin and I knew in
advance that I wanted them OFF! He was
very great for ideas and gave me a super
suggestion as to where to cut....we
cut about 3 inches off....and wow, have I
got swing, baby!!!!!! My hair is even redder!!!
He wasn't at all pushy or making the decision for
me......it was only what I wanted....at first I
was going to go shorter,,,I think he knew what my
later thoughts were going to be....
Because my ends were so sparse and air-like, when
I turned around and looked on the ground, it was
literally just wispies of 3". I was amazed! I really
thought I'd see more! My ends are now so thick,
it's aaaaammmmaaaazzzinggggg!
WOW, everyone, thanks so much for your suggestions!
You were right on the money!!!!
Sun, are you still planning on going next week????
HEY, GUESS WHAT, I even rescheduled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to be a "regular"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I know you're going to ask for pictures, but I can't
at all remember how do it on this site!!!!!! :(

E. December 28th, 2003, 03:47 AM What is a GM treatment?
LongRed December 28th, 2003, 06:05 AM Thanks everyone for the well wishes!
Yesterday will be forever remembered!
I can't wait to see the quality of my hair
from here!!!!
I caught some people glancing at my hair
today when we went out for breakfast! :)
(E., GM is a guy who did all kinds of research on
healthy hair...he has a line of shampoos and
conditioners.........GREAT STUFF!)
Madeleine December 28th, 2003, 07:02 AM What is a GM treatment?
Find out all about GM services in Germany here (http://www.cosma-kosmetik.de/).
The US products have slightly different ingredients, but the principle is the same. I tried the products (shampoo, 60 second conditioner and cream rinse) and did not like them, I've never had the one hour professional treatment done though. That one hour treatment (which all in all takes more like three hours or longer) is what people here are raving about usually :)
MissKim December 28th, 2003, 07:13 AM That's terrific, LongRed! You sound so excited and I'm happy for you!!!!! (Uh, ya better get us some pictures or it could get really ugly around here. :D )
Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
Cowgal December 28th, 2003, 08:44 AM Wow Longred! That's fantastic!!! I hope someday you will be able to get the treatment done *with* some other LHC'ers! Wouldn't that be fun!?!
Can't wait to see the pics- I just sent you a PM response about it.
Teacherbear December 28th, 2003, 09:09 AM Longred, I'm glad you had a good time! Your hair sounds lovely! Let us know when you get the picture thing figured out!!!! :)

Thank you :-)
chamogirl December 28th, 2003, 01:08 PM I am happy for you - now I just need to have a salon close to me so I can be happy for me
Axium December 28th, 2003, 01:38 PM Fantastic!!!!
I'm so glad and not surprised at all that you had a fabulous visit. Lance is just wonderful. I know what you mean about expecting more on the floor from his trims - he takes so long cutting, you're sure he's cutting more! Isn't he ever so diligent?
You said your hair was redder - did he color it?
Perhaps we can coordinate a visit sometime!
CurlyLigeia December 28th, 2003, 02:03 PM I've wondered about GM stylist and curly hair, do they agree? Most of what I hear about GM comes from girls with straight hair. I just wonder how they treat us curlies. I can see that you had your hair TRed and are growing back curly so what did your stylist have to say about curly heads? Just curious. I'm close to Columbus Ohio and I've passed a salon there called Rapunzels has anyone ever been and are they GM? Thanks!
Flaxen December 28th, 2003, 04:25 PM LongRed, I'll bet your hair looks beautiful. What fun you had!

For GM and curly hair, Dulci is the one you want to talk to.

Yes, Rapunzels is a GM salon, and Miracle102375 has been there!
Skeeter December 28th, 2003, 04:56 PM LongRed.. that is wonderful.. I can't imagine your hair looking anymore beautiful! I am so happy for you.

Tresses December 28th, 2003, 06:45 PM YAAAAAAAY LongRed!!!!! :D
I'm so glad you went! I was thinking about you yesterday about noon. Like Ax said, isn't it amazing to see so little hair on the floor after Lance cuts?
Isn't that swing amazing? I was very surprised at what a difference that cut makes. My 6 year old son said, "OOh! It's bouncy!" when I got home from my trip. :D
It's been a month and I can still feel the difference in my hair from the one hour treatment. Great stuff! :D Oh, and I understand about your hair being redder. My hair color intensified after the treatment, too. :DD
LR, you MUST figure out how to post your pics! (No pressure. Really. ;-) )
Glad you had such a great visit! :D
LongRed December 29th, 2003, 04:04 AM Thanks again Tresses so much for
all your help and suggestions for
the trip!!!!
I can't believe you still noticed the
effects of the conditioning for the
whole month!! Gosh, I hope mine
lasts that long!!!! I'm too afraid to
wash though because I won't get the
smoothness and wave that he got!!!!
I'll try to get some pictures going!
Thanks again!
LR
DweamGoiL December 29th, 2003, 06:04 AM Glad to hear, LongRed. It's definitely worth the money ;)
Fox December 31st, 2003, 09:20 PM Sounds wonderful LongRed! Perhaps you could post pictures on the old LHC board or the Loom so we can see! I wanna see! :) I am so glad you had a great visit! I really want to go one day!
