Do you leave this in permanently after shampooing or rinse it out after a certain amount of time. The instructions on the bottle are not clear.

directions on the bottle are not complete. When I placed my first order for products I was sent a 12 page booklet with information on using the products and the GM philosophy on hair.hth

I was told by the GM stylist that it was to be washed out. You don't have to wait a certain length of time to wash it out either.

It is the conditioners that can be used as a leave in. I haven't tried the 12 min conditioner yet, I'll do that next wash.

Hi Michael, we chatted a while back, I tend to rinse it fully out, but just sometimes especially if I'm keeping my hair bunned I perhaps don't rinse it out very well so it acts as a akind of leave in. Glad your wife enjoyed her GM experience BTW.

You are suppose to rinse it out. GM stylists say to spread it onto the outer layers of hair and the ends (avoiding the scalp) and then rinse immediately.

Others say they get the best results when they mix it first with water and then pour it over their hair and then rinse. I haven't tried that though. always meant to. :)

It's basically an acidic rinse that closes the cuticle to add shine and keep the hair from tangling. So you don't need to leave it in for 10 minutes.

At the GM salon, she squirted it on, and rinsed it out. I bet it wasn't on my hair for 10 seconds!
