So after seeing some buzz around the new dry shampoo Ojon Rub out I had to try it.I have very oily hair and can never get away with wearing it down after a wash for more than one day.So this was exactly was I was looking for.

I'm sad to say I'm pretty disappointed.I had some reservations because of the ingredient list.Acohol and propane are first on the list. But I was willing to overlook that if it meant a few days of clean looking hair.

I had second day hair the first time I used it.I applied exactly as suggested on the bottle.Which is an aerosol spray.I then brushed it through my hair.It does smell good at least.I waited a few minutes. It really does make the hair "look" clean.Feeling clean is another story. My hair still felt oily and lank. And it took most of the natural looking shine away.I was left with hair that felt dirty and looked dull...But clean.

I wanted to give it a fair chance before giving up.So I washed my hair and waited again for the second day.I used it exactly as specified once again. But this time I held it a little further away.Since I thought maybe I did it too close to my head last time. But alas I had the same results.I also noticed if you dont shake the can before each spray it will spray out white onto your hair.

I wont be using it again. The thing that bothered me the most about it is it actually irritated my scalp. It left it itchy and red.So for anyone with a sensitive scalp avoid this product like the plague:scared:.

Here is a list of the ingredients as listed on the bottle:

Isobutane, Achohol, Propane, Solanum Tuberosum (potato) starch, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Kaolin (Amazonian White Clay), Oryza Sativa(rice) starch,
Quillaja Saponaria Bark Extract, Isopropyl Myristate, Propylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Bambusa Vulgaris Extract, Elaeis Oleifera (palm) Oil, Cyclodextrin, Bixa Orellana Seed Extract, Silica, Silk powder (Poudre De Soie), Parfum (fragrance).

Thanks for the review longhairdreams. I have used some other Ojon products and was thinking about trying this one...but I think I'll reconsider now.

i agree- the ojon dry shampoo isn't really all that great. the white stuff gets in my hair even if i do shake the bottle and it left my scalp dry and flakey- like i had dandruff!
