Actually Pixna, I have two small twisty hardwood sticks in that I purchased at Enchantress for about six bucks a piece. They're only about 3" long. I've found that works best - a couple of smaller ones, then I have probably half a dozen of the teeny jawclips that are made for thick hair (not that mine's thick, it's superfine, just the volume of it). This works out so much better for molding the bun to my head and holding it tight all day.
It's funny, I never think of myself as having a lot of hair.
