Steph, I really appreciate you setting this up for us! You truly are A-MAZING!! I'm bummed, though, because I don't care for this format. The Net54 layout is so much more user-friendly, despite it's many problems. I know if we moved to this platform I would post a whole lot less, even though I wouldn't want to post less often.

I dont' intend to sound ungrateful, Steph, as you have gone waaay beyond the call of duty. :D I just find these types of discussion boards cumbersome to read and maneuver. Thank you for everything!! You are one very, very special person!!

Thank you Stephanie for this new site :D The first thing I noticed is how much faster it is! I'm really curious to see how it will be with threaded messages. I have seen other forums like this, and there is some adjustment required to get used to them, but it might be kind of fun; who knows?

Well, that's a cool feature right there...being able to edit the message and preview it again without extra clicks!

It took me a while to figure out how to even post, LOL! Even if this format is less user frienly that net54, I think what they charge is outrageous. Besides, it's been kind of hard for me to keep up with the topics over at Net54 anyway, because I've been so busy lately. Maybe this will be better? Let's hope so. It seems like a great forum, anyway!

I actually think that Net54 is not all that user friendly - its just what we are used to. I remember having lots of problems setting up my signature, inserting files etc when I was new (a couple of years ago) until I learnt how to do it. I don't think this board will be much different - its just getting used to something new.

I love the new board! This non-theaded format will change things a bit, but I do like this type of board. I visit a few other boards with this format. I like how we have profiles, and all the other extras that network54 doesn't have. Also, I post at another network54 board that's totally unrelated to hair, and I always had to be careful to uncheck the box to display my signature. I finally ended up cutting out most of my sig, leaving only the numbers. Anyway, I like that this is it's own board, instead of something like network54 or ezboard where you have the same login for all the boards. I like being able to customize things to where I am. So are we moving here permanantly, then?
How many different boards have we had since the big deal with LHL last year, anyway?

Oh, cool, I just noticed that you can scroll through the rest of the thread below. I've never seen that feature before.

It is nice to have more room. Nothing is more irritating than the constant deadends when N54 is down.
