I really like this product. I have chemically relaxed and color treated hair, both of which I am currently growing out and this works well on my ends as well as the virgin roots. It comes in a big 20 oz jar and you can usually get it on sale (it's only sold at Sally's) for less than $4. It has a very thick consistency, but it smooths through the hair very easily. And the best part about it is that it doesn't take long for the moisturizing benefits to kick in. The only part that gets me is that sometimes the smell can be overwhelming, but overall it's a great product and I highly recommend it.

Yes, it does have dimeticone, but it's pretty far down on the list.
