I'd say 2a as well. Especially that the wave was still there after combing makes me think it's 2a, 1c waves tend to be more fragile (and not as pronounced). That's really very wavy...

I'll be the freak and say 1c. However, it may shift to 2a as your hair gets a little longer.

Hey! Your hair looks like mine (just in the texture, not color). The no-touch picture looks like 2a and the combed one looks like 1c. That's why I put down mine as 1c/2a, but I think we're really supposed to use the no-touch hair for typing, so I guess we're both 2a. The thing is, I don't feel right putting that down because most of the time my hair looks like your 2nd picture, which I think is a 1c.

I'd say go with 2a as well, because I consider myself a 1a and I am wayyyy straighter than you. You have very nice waves by the way!:)

It's definitely a 2, and I'd actually say 2a/2b. I voted for 2b - wow, I feel like an outsider now ;)

I would say 2A as well. It is pretty wavy. I think you might have to retype it as it gets longer though...

Hmm, I would go for 1c.

I think that type-2's in general have a more 'rougher' appearance or structure. Your hair looks too smooth for me to type it 2a.
Although it has definitely some wave to it, I think that they are also accentuated by and more pronounced because of the layers.
It is likely that the look will change once your hair gets longer and more one-length (assuming that you are aiming towards that).

It is really hard to tell from pictures alone.

Go with what you feel most likely. Maybe check the photo's of other 1c and 2a types to see if you find similarities with your own hair !

As for the type I kinda agree with Niph.
To me you do not look like a classical 2a, but not really like a 1c either. I would type you as a 1c/2a. You have a wavepattern. Not really defined but your hair is wavy enough to not qualify it as a 1. But it will be difficult to say exactly until it gets longer.

I kinda had the same problem as to not knowing what my hair really is.
The pics in my sig are a good example. The left one is my natural wave and it will stay in if I do not touch my hair as it dries. But I can get rid of the wave my combing wet, the pic on the right. But if I look at the strands with straight hair I can still make out spirally waves. It just is not really defined.

Well I kinda look at the way the light is reflected and if I can make out individual strands. Your hair looks really soft, almost like children's hair. Judging from the photo's I defenitely think you're a F. If you're a M, then I'm a C and with my hair that will not fly.
But that's my opinion, I might be wrong.

You can test it a bit with the way your hair feels to the touch and how it looks against the light. Roll an individual strand between your fingers, how does it feel, etc...

But I would agree that your hair looks finer than pure "M" - still, I am not there to touch it, what would I know? :P

Yeah, I have done that, which is why I didn't think I was an F, but I could be wrong I guess. Even with the light colour I can clearly see each strand, and feel an individual strand rolling between my fingers like a piece of thread.
