Has anyone ever used apple pectin in any of the home made brews? I was looking at the properties 'hair care products, it helps smooth the cuticle to lock in nutrients and enhance shine'. so has anyone done an experiment? did they use raw pectin? that was mushed.... or cooked?

any issues? what should I know before I go and destroy the yummy looking apples downstairs?

I have used it to mix my henna when I wanted to thicken it but didn't want to throw in more henna: Ican't say it worked very well, but at least I stretched the mix!;) I used pectin straight from the bottle. Maybe I should boil it before I mix it with the henna next time...
