Oh Anne! I hope that if you get it, it's just what you were searching for- and much more! Would you please write a review of it if you try it? It sounds like a great design- I've been looking for a "smily" brush for you too, but never did see one. :( I have a smily shaped comb, and really like how that one feels- the brush would be fantastic!

Let me know if the new Enchantress brush has gentle bristles. I too am trying to replace a favorite bbb that had a quality of bristle none have matched so far. I do like my MP and Kent brushes. However, I would love to find one that matches my old favorite.

they sent me some pics and one of the brushes looks like it may have promise. They told me the oval styling brush looks like what I might want, but it was one of the others that looked like what I want.

I can't do much about buying them now, I've got too much on my plate already, lol, it'll have to wait and I have to check and see how much they are first.

I am excited about them though!

I just got my contour brush in the mail yesterday. When you look at it the bristles look like a smile. The contour brush is 30.00 and the other two are 20.00. When I brushed with mine last night it felt sooo different then my usual brushes, I think I'm going to love it. That's two great products I've ordered because of your posts. The brush and the Saracare products :D

How do the bristles feel? Are they really stiff, in between or soft?

I'm so grateful to you for telling me about these brushes! I'd found some others but I trust a GM salon more, so I'll probably buy from them, but I'd like to know how you like the bristles and what type of hair you have too, if you don't mind me asking.

Doesn't the shape of the brush feel so great?! I've never undertood why most are made "backwards"! LOL! doesn't make sense to me

Thanks again!

I follow your thread with great interest. My BB on wood brush has the kind of shape you are looking for, and I had no idea what treasure I bought years ago. It never really occurred to me that my brush is special before someone here started posting about it!
I don't remember the price, but I was still a student and wouldn't have had the money to pay more than $20 for a brush at the very most.
I got it in Australia (I think at Target or a similar large mall department store) and the company is called "LJ Designs".

I love this brush and have been using it regularly for about five years. Still looks like new. I can wash it without any stinkies too.
I'm really looking forward to comparing it to the rubber cushioned JP BBB that's on its way to me :-)

Madeleine, you wouldn't believe how long I've had my favorite brush! I think I remember my mother saying she had it before I was born when Breck was popular. I don't know if Breck was ever available in Europe, but apparently she got the Breck brush with some shampoo as a promotional item. It's held up all these years and while I can't bear to part with it, I do need to replace it, lol, lay it to rest, poor thing! It's time.
