Due to the expanding community, I have placed a single ad at the top of the page. This is the ONLY ad that there will be (absolutely no other static ads or any pop-up ads) on this board.

Here's how the ad works. The script used to create the ad "reads" the page and finds ads in its database that most closely resemble the content on the web page. That means that there will be ads displayed for hair care, skin care, fitness, and whatever other topic that you may be viewing on the boards. It doesn't always find the MOST relevant ads, but it does mean that there won't be any tasteless ads appearing (how many of us remember those mini-cam ads from N54? LOL!). Each time someone clicks on the ad, it gives the LHC fund a little bit of money. However, because this ad pays each time a person clicks on it, it is monitored to make sure that no one is abusing it (clicking on it repeatedly within a short time frame). This ad will help us keep the website up so we can continue to expand.

Also, at the request of several people, I have placed the "Make a Donation" button on the top of the page, just next to the Long Hair Community logo. This is a PayPal button which will take you to their secure site where you may log in to make a contribution or sign up to make one.

Neither of these are mandatory for ANYONE! Please don't feel like you have to contribute. These new features are now implemented for the people who wanted to help but were unsure of exactly how.
