I'm not sure how long my hair is at the moment since it's pulled back in a ponytail today, but I've been growing it out for about a year now. In December 2001 I first got it cut to just below my chin, which looked nice, but I just couldn't stand not being able to pull it back into a ponytail. I'd never get it cut any shorter than that because I love having hair below my shoulders. I like to be able to pull it back when I wash my face or in the summer when it's hot. :)

As for the color, well, my natural color is a medium ashy blonde with a few blonde highlights in the front from the sun, but it's dyed Feria Cool Blonde (which is anything but cool blonde!!! :rolleyes: ) at the moment.

What I'm trying to do is grow my hair long (I guess to my bra strap, however long that is) and get my hair kind of back to my natural color with some nice blonde highlights added in. :D

Welcome, Lauren! We have great fun measuring our hair monthly and posting the results. It really, really helps keep me going in the growing process because sometimes (ok, almost always!) I am sure I have reached my limit and my hair isn't growing anymore, only to find I've gained another half inch that month! :D

Usually, many of us measure from the front hairline, over our heads and down to the ends of our hair. Any way you choose to measure, if you do it the same way each month, should really help you see the fruits of your labor!

Thanks everyone! I don't have any recent pictures at the moment. The only picture I have online is from April 2002 and my hair isn't very long in that picture, but as soon as I get a recent picture I will post it for all of you!! :D
