For those who scalp wash in between regular washes, I have a question. Do you use shampoo when you scalp wash only? If so, how do you make sure that you got all the shampoo out without getting any on the length?

I was on a website, just today, that showed images of the person with her abundant hair up in a topnot bun, with a shower cap secured over it. That kept the bun dry and out of her way while washing her scalp.

Yes... I use shampoo, and to get it all out, I rinse, rinse, and rinse some more! I use a handheld shower attachment so it's fairly easy.

Are you using Martine's Scrunchi-Bun Scalpwash method? If not, here's a link that shows step-by-step instructions. It's really easy and works great! :)

Oh thank you! That's where I was--I hate not being able to remember enough to credit someone's site!

Does that method work effectively, for anyone who's tried it?
