I remember that from last year, and lost the bookmarked link when my computer died. THANKS so much for re-listing that for me. I laughed my head off when I read it last year, and plan to spend an inordinate amount of time laughing about it again this year. My BROTHER (the real=life one) will LOVE it as well!!!!

You guys read TWoP???!! That is my home! :D
Awesome. 8)

Never heard of TWoP, but wanted to jump in and say "I LOVE your avatar, Dani!" I had a Calvin and Hobbes, Cal sneaking up on Hobbes, but switched temporarily to a chicken one. Can't find any fullgrown chickens (in the scant time I spent searching), so had to settle for this little animated one. The little chickies are cute, but they seem a little spastic, don't you think?????

Never heard of TWoP?

http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com

they "review" a fair number of current television shows. review is a term loosely applied to what they write, because as far as i can tell, they hate everything. however, the writers are such experts at sarcasm, that i don't mind when they're discussing a show i actually liked. all of the reviews are thorough, sometimes going on for 10 pages or so. they also often will comment on something insightful that i missed in the show. the writing on the site is of such a good caliber that it will often make me laugh out loud at something while reading it. they definitely use some pg13/r-rated language, but it's not overused or gratuitious.

they also have message boards for readers to discuss the various shows, but i'm just getting used to those.

I just read a little bit on TWOP, and it is a HOOT. I have it bookmarked. I only read the little snippet they had on American Idol (I have a love-hate relationship with that show, frankly) but laughed out loud when he said, there at the last, "The twist in next week's episode probably won't involve Vin Diesel's hands around Corey's neck, so I am probably not interested". I wanted to smack that hat off his head last night. There, I said it out loud. Even LisaJaney has PMS days, huh!!!!

i find myself reading the twop commentaries for shows i don't even watch because what they're saying is so bitingly funny.

they trash my beloved buffy and angel every week, but they also write some of the most involved commentaries that i've found on the subject.

(and i'll offically apologize for hijacking this topic and dragging it away from the original subject. i'm bad about that. perhaps there's a twelve step program somewhere to help me overcome the urge to go off topic on message boards)

I will second Hollie's sentiments. I am GLAD that you posted the Peeps thing, but also glad to have that link to TWOP. I ALSO will go FURTHER offtopic (just shoot me now) and say that I laughed my head off at those singing Viking Kitties. What a hoot!!!! My boys laughed like imbiciles at them, too. Even my hubby, a cat-hater (we have three barncats, spayed one and all) laughed at it. He likes Led Zeppelin and remembered the song. I think he was rocking out (well, as well as an old man can! - he's almost 43)

Why DON'T they dip peeps in chocolate? They ahve those marshmallow cookie thingies: you know the cookie with a marshmallow on top, then either rolled in coconut, or dipped in chocolate? Well, they should do that with peeps. I would like them either dipped in chocolate or rolled in coconut. OH! Or dipped in chocolate, THEN rolled in coconut. Wait a sec, have to wipe the drool off my chin.........mmmmmmmmm

now that this board resembles the others i frequent..i find i'm falling into the habits i have on those boards here. we wander off and on topic and discussions often take unusual turns, but you find out the best info sometimes in the those off topic turns.

i'm not a cat fan either (i firmly believe my neighbor's cat is possessed by some malevolent spirit), but something about those singing kitties was hysterical.
