View Full Version : Wanted: samples of oils etc

So I am experimenting with oils etc. I have tried jojoba and safflower oil but it makes my hair crunchy.
I have read that shea/cocoa butter and aloe vera can be used to 'oil' hair and make it moisturized. (if you know any more please tell! :inlove:)
I'd like some tiny amounts of these and anything else that can be suggested :) (Before I go and blow more money on whole bottles!) I'd be willing to pay for postage.
Thankyou!

Let me take a look when I get home from work to see what all I have. I know I have shea and seveal others. I'm thinking I have some cocoa as well.

I'll be back online Monday to let you know. If I have something you haven't already received, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Oh, and WELCOME to the boards!

If your interested in mixed oil I have some from curl junkie. I ordered the conditioning sampler from them but I don't use oil so they are unopened. I have 1 dram of each: treatment- thick and luscious hair, treatment- normal hair, treatment- fine hair, treatment- dry/ damaged hair.

BBGrrl: could you tell me more about this "curl junkie" stuff?

Thank you :D

I could send you samples of oils: coconut, olive, seasame, jojoba, and aloe vera gel, if you would like. I do live in the US though and I am not sure how much shipping would cost. Perhaps we could do a trade?

rasarani: Sure we could trade if you want, I don't have much hair stuff. But I do have some stuff you might like. I just took a quick look in my bathroom cupboard, I found some "Mary Kay Satin Hands" hand cream, its shrink wrapped so it's unopened.

BBGrrl: the Curl Rehab - Damaged Hair one looks good. I'm interested ;)

Great I was hopeing to find these oils good homes. This will be 1 down. Because they are new I was hoping to get the $2 I paid for it plus shipping. Still interested? I am trying to think of a discreat way of doing the transaction since you don't have PM abilitys yet. I can't remember if that comes at 25 or 100 posts.

Perhaps you could email me? As for payment PayPal would probably be the best option. Also BBGrrl would it be too much to ask for a picture? Much appreciated!

I am going to try but I am barely computer literate. So no garentees. Pictures are a little outside my abilities. Just incase I can't get the picture the bottle is .5" wide and 1.5" tall.
