When I joined LHC my hair was a little wavey. Now here I am 3 months later and I have this huge mass of hair. I originally typed at 2a. Do you think this has changed? If so, what would you say my hair is? I looked at the visual typing sight and my hair looked similar to some 2b's and some 2c's. I also have little ring curls at my nape and around my hairline.

Hello Soulscribe66, you do have amazing hair:grin: I think it looks like 2a or 2a/2b to me :flower:
ETA: I take a second look now and am voting for 2a:)
ETA: My third look seems more like 2b:lol:

My first impression is 2b

I was thinking 2b.
But you know, all the 2s are notoriously hard calls to make. Have you ever felt that way, 2s? Some days I'm a 2b. Some days I'm a 2c. I just don't know.

I also have little ring curls at my nape and around my hairline.Hey Soulscribe66!:waving: I get those little spirals all around my hairline too, they almost seem to be in the 3's. Our wave pattern looks so similar, my guess for you would also be 2b. For my own moody hair, some days it's 2a, others it's 2c so I settled on right in the middle. (Mine looks more 2c-ish in my siggy, but that's about as wavy as it gets.)
Your hair is looking fabulous!:inlove:

I have type 2 hair and as I've posted before, we need to replace the entire "2" section of the hair typing guide with "TWILIGHT ZONE BURMUDA TRIANGLE OF WAVY DOOM" or something of the like.
If your hair is anything like mine, it can go from a 2a to a 2c within a couple of days and then back again. Often, my hair on one side of my head is a different type than the other side. Often it will go through stages of several months at a time.
I find that the healthier my hair becomes, the more sporatic my waves change. This is probably what's happening to you.
So my best advice is to embrace your waviness and look forward to the surprises that your hair will provide you every morning.
hehe. This doesn't help at all... I know.

Definitely 2-something ;)
Honestly, I suck at hair typing but I wanted to say that your hair is looking awesome Soulscribe. ( I am sitting here jealously wishing that my hair would transform into a mass of waves too...)

Your hair looks really beautiful. Maybe it's a combination of 2a and 2b. Whatever, it really looks good.
