Okie Dokie Folks!....
I leave for the big wedding in Vegas tomorrow, and won't be back until Tuesday...

We still haven't decided how all of the bridesmaids are wearing our hair--I volunteered to do the Bride's hair (my best buddy in the whole world), and then they all decided I should do theirs too. I have a few styles that I am going to do for them and let them decide. The bride is wearing half her hair up and half down with a ring of flowers around the crown. I am planning to do french twists, a crown braid, and one I have no name for...then let them pick which they feel is best. The dresses we are wearing all have very low backs, so I think at least a partial updo will be best... Wish me good luck and hair vibes. They all have bra length or longer one length hair, so it shouldn't be that difficult for any of the styles... ( :oops: I hope :oops: )

The wedding is on Saturday, and we have tickets to the Nascar Winston Cup Race on Sunday...I just finished our signs to take to the race...So if you see a sign in the fourth corner that says either "Nascar is Faster On FOX" or a "Go Dale Go" sign, both of which have #8 for Dale Jr. and an #88 for Dale Jarrett on them...that's me and my hubby.

I better get going...I'll miss you all, and *please* try not to post too much while I am gone....It's gonna be impossible to catch back up on everything when I get back...

I certainly hope Dale's run of bad luck comes to a quick end! He was so dominant during the speed week in Daytona,only to be bitten by something simple and then......rain :x Rockingham wasn't any more kind :(

I used to do my friends hair for prom and the seasonal dances and the easiest, yet best looking style I ever did was an "upside down French braid crown." I braided from the base, up the back of the head, around in a circle and made a crown out of it. Before I'd braid, I'd leave a bit out that I could gather into the crown and I'd curl that into pin curls. Spritz with some super fine glitter (shimmer) and/or attach some baby's breath or rose buds and it was good to go. It always lasted all night, too because everything was pinned into place. Anyway, just a thought. It's much easier than it sounds.
