Has anyone had sucess with Rose hip oil? It seems it should be good for hair.

"Rose hip oil contains linoleic (40-46%), linolenic (33-40%), oleic (15-17%), and palmitic (3-4%) fatty acids. Rose hip oil is said to have very good regenerative, restructuring, softening, moisturizing and filmforming properties. If is often recommended for scars and spots and is used in softening, regenerative and mositurizing products for damaged, mature and delicate skin and hair. Rose hip oil should last from 12 to 18 months but should be kept refrigerated because of it's delicate nature and because it is cold-pressed. Please check our carrier oils page for a complete listing of our carrier oils."

i used RHO for a month to try clear up my acne scars........well for me i only saw a little improvement.........but i stopped as it kinda made my skin really oily during the day........and it clogged up my glasses..........whenever my skin touched my lenses.........

so now im just using a moisturiser...........im not sure bout the hair though.............

I drink Rose Hip Tea often. All I know is it's supposed to have a huge amount of vitamin c.

RHO is great for 'mature' skin, rosacea-type problems, and fine lines. I do use some in my EO scalp mix as one of the carrier oils. Personally, I would save it for skin/scalp use rather than on the hair itself, but if it works for you go for it! Another super-good oil (though even more pricey!) for skin and scalp you might want to look into is seabuckthorn oil- one of the best! :cloud9:
