View Full Version : HI TO EVERYONE AGAIN!!
Gary February 25th, 2003, 06:57 AM Hi everyone!! This is Gary, the GM owner (newly single and available by the way) in Beverly Hills (if you live near us then email me and I will get you in for a discount since you are on these boards) that posted the GM salon before leaving for France!! Yes, a trip to Francais for wine tasting!! Anybody else like wine tasting? The weather was actually nice and the French people were mostly nice!! I am exhausted due to the time change but hey, the trip was worth it!!
I wanted to thank everyone for all the nice messages I got while I was gone. :D There are alot of nice people on these boards!! What a nice change from the normal intrenet experience. The new boards are nice also. Thanks again to everyone and I hope everyone has a great week!!!
RedButterfly February 25th, 2003, 10:18 AM I'm glad that you had a good time in France. It must be a beautiful place to visit. Did you stay in Paris or visit the country side?
I also wanted to ask if you have any hair care tips for curly hair? I am curious about how the GM system works with curly hair. My curly hair tends to be dry and needs a lot of moisture. What are your recommendations for curly hair?
Thanks.
GoldLady February 25th, 2003, 10:55 AM Glad to hear you're back AND that you found us! Stay, post often!! :D
Hollie February 25th, 2003, 10:58 AM Hi Gary!!!!!!!! :D :D
Anne February 25th, 2003, 04:52 PM I agree that this place is out of the ordinary as compared to the rest of the net, so many nice people here :) It's a real community and nobody gets away with being down right nasty, so I think that's why it works :)
Your trip sounds nice. I've been to France once and had a wonderful time! I especially remember the crepe stands on the streets in Paris! mmmmmmmm!!!!!
gabiwags February 25th, 2003, 05:03 PM Hi Gary :DD ...g
snippet February 25th, 2003, 06:01 PM A vacation to France!?! wow, hope it was all you wanted. I'm a fan of reisling, but that's usually German I think. That's all the wine I know. Tequila, now that's another story! lol
Everyone's itching to learn about how/if GM treats curly hair vs straight hair. ... .
Teacherbear February 25th, 2003, 06:14 PM Hi Gary!!!
I'm glad to see you are back! :)
Also, thanks for the offer, maybe if I'm ever in LA! ;)
We hope you stick around and post some more!
Gary February 28th, 2003, 10:22 AM There is no difference in treatment on our salon for straight versus curly hair. It is all the same really when the real concern is the health of your hair. Remember our salon cuts your hair "up" and not across if your hair is healthy enough. This mean we trim the "frizzies" or unhealthy strands from the bottom length towards the head so the healthy hair is maintained. We would only cut across if the hair was unhealthy at its current length. You can have hair of any length and it can be heathly if you treat it right!!
Arcticpixie February 28th, 2003, 02:16 PM Hey Gary welcome back! I bet the trip was just FAB. Looking forward to more posts from our 'resident GM stylist' :D
Axium February 28th, 2003, 05:39 PM You can easily be a celebrity here. We're all so intensely curious about the whole GM mystique! I don't live near one, unfortunately. :(
But I'd like to ask you, can you describe exactly what the GM treatment is? Is is a deep conditioning, a silicone coating, what??
Curious longhairs want to know.
RedButterfly March 3rd, 2003, 11:59 AM I really appreciate your input on curly hair. Thank you. :)
Cowgal March 3rd, 2003, 12:54 PM Welcome back, Gary. Your trip sounds facinating! Are there alot of long haired women in France? ;)
Too bad your salon is not closer to me. The nearest is 5 hours away- which I went to and enjoyed. Do keep us posted when/ if you hear of new GM salons opening up in the US!
