Hey, all! Has anyone tried the barettes from Bronze Jewelers? I think they look lovely, but I'm concered about any sharp edges. If I even *look* at toys with sharp edges I get breakage. Don't need any more of that!
Thanks! :D

I don't own a barrette from the BronzeJewelers, but I do have their spiral hairstick (in fact it is in my hair right now :D ) I purchased mine at a Ren Fest and looked at the barrettes as well. All of their pieces are very well made and do not have any sharp edges. I am quite sure you would be happy with anything you purchased from them.

I've always wanted to try one of their hair toys too. If they have sharp edges, you can always file the sharp edges smooth.

I have the scroll-style clip barrette. It had no shart edges -- quite the contrary, everything is very rounded and smooth -- much more so than on a Ficcare, for example.
One problem I do have with the scroll style is that the little protruding ends get tangled in my hair. This isn't as big a problem as it sounds like because the barrette is so smooth I can usually easily work it down to the ends of my hair just like a comb. However, it does mean that a) I only get one shot at putting the barrette into a style, because I have to let my hair down to take the barrette out and b) I can't really use it to hold braided styles. This wouldn't be a problem with a style with no protrusions.
